Cross Water platform in offshore wind service
01/What this changes

Flexible Offshore Access. One Platform.

Offshore wind service operations use different boats for different tasks — some for transfer, some for tools, some for inspection. Cross Water Modular is designed to consolidate service access into one configurable platform. The same hull moves technicians and tools one day, supports inspection the next, and reconfigures in minutes without returning to a yard.

02/Who it serves

Who It Serves

Offshore Wind O&M Operators

Routine technician transfer and light maintenance

Offshore Wind Developers

Construction-phase crew and inspection access

Offshore Energy Service Providers

Specialist service runs to remote platforms

Surveyors & Inspection Firms

Turbine, cable, and subsea asset inspection

Crew Transfer Operators

Point-to-point crew movement to offshore sites

03/Mission capabilities

Configurable for Offshore Wind Service.

Configured module sets for each capability area are built to the operator's mission profile at quotation stage.

04/The platform

Built for Offshore Duty.

The RIB 950 and RIB 1150 (CE Category B and B/A) are the typical offshore wind fits, with larger working deck, greater payload, and higher CE rating for offshore operations. The 2.1 m deflated beam on the RIB 750 enables container-compatible rapid transport for remote deployment. Marine-grade aluminium hull, 25+ year service life, self-draining seawater channels, pitch and roll assistance interceptors.

Manned performance now. Autonomy-ready by design. The platform accepts remote operation and future autonomous survey payloads as an upgrade path.

05/Frequently asked

Frequently Asked Questions

No. Crew Transfer Vessels (CTVs) are dedicated catamaran platforms typically 20+ metres built specifically for offshore wind crew transfer. Cross Water Modular is a smaller modular workboat platform configurable for wind farm service access, tools carriage, and light maintenance. Different category, different use case.
